Notes before starting overalls
If you are using the same yarn size for both the body and overall, i would recommended using a smaller hook when making the overalls.
You may want to adjust the number of chains while making the pant legs at the beginning so that they fit your bear how you would like. After you have made your chains, make sure they fit well around your bear’s legs before continuing.
You can also add or skip some single crochet rows to make your overalls shorter/ taller.
