Materials:

Yarn: size 6 super bulky (I used honey bunny shine, zeeman extra soft and toucan) and size 3 plied chenille yarn (I used ricorumi nilli nilli).
Colors: brown, cream, dark blue, orange/caramel, yellow, white, pink (optional for the cheeks)
Crochet hooks in 2 sizes (I used 6mm and 2.5mm)
Safety eyes (I used 10mm)

Cream:

Single crochet around. Do this for every blo row, until you have three rims.

Head

Blue:
R1. 6 sc in MR
R2. 6 inc (12)
R3. (1sc,inc)x6 (18)
R4. 18 sc (18)
R5. 18 sc (18)

Put the eyes 5 stitches apart between R4 and R5.
Stuff the head firmly.
R7. 6 dec (6)

Slst in the first increase and FO. Leave a long tail for sewing.
Sometimes the filling appears, use the tail to sew this hole shut.
Assemble the head between the 2nd and 3rd pancake rim. Make sure the blueberry rim is facing upward.

Flippers X4

Blue:
R1. 6 sc in MR
R2. 6 inc (12)
R3. (1sc,inc)x6 (18)
Fold the cirlce in half and single crochet along the open sides to close it.
I needed 11 sc to do this. FO and leave a long tail for sewing. Make 4 flippers.
Assemble the front flippers approximately 5 stitches from the head.
For the back flippers, find the center of the back of the turtle and assemble both flippers I stitch from the center, so 2 stitches apart.
Orientate the flippers so the MR faces the back of the turtle.

Butter

Yellow:
R1. Ch 5
R2. Start in 2nd stitch from hook, 4sc, ch1 and turn work.
R3. 4sc, ch1 and turn work.
R4. 4sc, ch1 and turn work.
FO and leave a tail for sewing.
Assemble the butter on the syrup, wherever you find it aesthetically pleasing.
Grab a darning needle and embroider some shine on it with white yarn.

Blueberries

Dark blue:
Use your size 3 yarn for the blueberries.
R1. 6 sc in MR
R2. 6 inc (12)
R3. sc, inc (18)
R4. sc, dec (12)
Stuff lightly.
R5. 6 dec (6)
R6. 6 inc (12)
FO and leave a tail for sewing.
Make as many blueberries as you want. You can vary the size by increasing more, or less.
Assemble them on top of the syrup.
