inc- increase (2 single crochet in one stitch)

Use orange color yarn.

2. inc x 6 (12)
3. ‘1sc, inc’ x 6 (18)
4. ‘2sc, inc’ x 6 (24)
5.-7. sc around (24)
8. ‘2sc, dec’ x 6 (18)
9. ‘1sc, dec’ x 6 (12)
Fill the pumpkin with fiberfill loosely or up to 80%.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for making the pumpkin segments.
Making the segments: Using the string and a sewing needle, go through the top center of the pumpkin to the bottom center. Repeat the same process 6 times, this will divide the pumpkin into 6 segments. Make sure to tighten the string after each segment to make them pop.
Stem and leaf
Use green color yarn.

4. slst, ch6, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, 5sc
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Using the string, attatch the stem to the earring hooks and sew the stem on top of the pumpkin.
