Tools and materials:
Cotton yarn size- size 8/4, in the following colors:
White
Various shades of pink, red or any color of choice.
Scissors.
Hook number: 2.5
Abbreviations:
MR- magic ring
Ch- chain
Dc- double crochet (treble crochet in UK)
Tr- treble crochet (double treble crochet in UK)
Slst- slip stitch
Heart
Use red, pink color yarn or color of choice
1. Make a MR, ch3, 3tr, 3dc, ch3, slst into the 1st chain, 3dc, 3tr, ch3, slst.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for attaching.
Tighten the MR, using the strings from the magic circle, make a loop and weave in the ends.
Chain
Use white color yarn or color of choice.
1. Ch20, add 1 of the hearts, ch10, add a heart – repeat for as many hearts as you want, end with ch of 20.
For this pattern we made 20 hearts with 4 different colors.
The finished garland is about 95 cm (37.4 inches) long.
This size will depend on the yarn size and how tight/loose you make the chains.
