Every step-by-step detail is explained with photos. I’d like to thank our designer for this wonderful amigurumi doll. It took me back to my childhood. I haven’t seen a retro amigurumi doll pattern like this lately. The doll’s dress is reversible. One side is decorated with blue daisies, while the other side features a yellow dress with a squirrel embroidered on the skirt. Of course, I’ve included a diagram showing how to embroider the squirrel.

The space between the eyes counts 8 loops.

Embroider the eyes in the way to pull the needle with cotton yarn 8 times through the marked stitch slowly to get a round shape (Picture 6).
Embroider the nose horizontally 6 times with pearl yarn (Picture 7).
Embroider the mouth horizontally 6 times with red yarn. (Picture 8)

Crocheting strands of hair
From the 3rd row we crochet 18 strands of hair.
Each strand has 41 chain (Picture 11).
Crochet the hair strand with single crochet stitches. Connect with a slip stitch (Picture 12).
Start the next hair strand with a single stitch and crochet 41 loops (Picture 13).

Sew the hair to the head
First, we center the hair on the head. I leave long strands of thread when I finish both the first and second rounds of strands of hair. With a needle, thread the thread through the top of the doll’s head and pass it down through the opening.(Picture 17,18)
Secure the 18 strands with pins and then sew.

I embroidered the skirt using the alternating cross stitch.
