Next you will use pink (or white/ivory) yarn to crochet along the leftover front loops of round 1 and 2 for a total of 21 stitches.
After you attach yarn onto your hook, insert hook into the final remaining front loop of round 3.
Your hook shoul be pointed inward, towards the center of the ear. Create a slip stitch on this loop, followed by a single crochet on each remaining loop all the way around, working in a spiral.
When you’re finished. Fasten off. And weave in the beginning and ending tails.

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. You can either sew the ear on as is or pinch the bottom of the ear together (where you just finished off) so that 2 pairs of stitches align and sew these together.
For the blanket yarn version, ı weave all ends at this point, and use similary colored worsted weight yarn to later sew the ears onto the hamster.
Sew ears onto the head of the hamster onto rounds 8-9.

Leave a long tail for sewing.
For the blanket yarn version, ı tuck in the end and use similary colored worsted weight yarn to sew the legs onto the hamster.

Sew the 2 ivory legs at a slight angle (each facing inward) on rounds 20-21.
Sew the 2 light brown legs on rounds 29-30, also at a slight angle (so that they face inward and “hug” the rounded body).

Tail

Stuff if desired.
Rnd 1. Ch 2, complete 5 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook (5)
Rnd 2. 5 inc (10)
